Areas of Interest
- The Monarch Butterfly Grove heralds thousands of Monarchs from October through February. The Eucalyptus trees are home to these majestic creatures, and those traveling into Pismo City from Highway 1 will be showered in their beauty during the migration period.
- The sand dunes that stretch along the surrounding coast are among the last of California’s dunes, and span a longer distance than any other sand dunes in the state. Anyone is welcome to take an ATV tour of the area. The dunes are also the perfect spot to watch the breath-taking sunset.
