Art in the Park takes place along the path where the ocean meets the cliffs in Shell Beach, CA
During the first Sunday of every month from May through November is a tradition six years running in Pismo Beach. The event – Art in the Park – features over 90 local artists and craftsmen, and stretches along the path leading down to the edge of the cliffs at the Dinosaur Caves Park.
Vendors feature a variety of artistic talent, including paintings, sculptures, pottery, glass art, textiles, hand-made jewelery, wooden carvings, and many other unique pieces, all of which would make a great addition to any home. The tastes vary from all over the world to fit the lifestyle of just about anyone. Locally prepared food and drink is also sold, including sodas, teas, and coffees.
There are also attractions that kids will enjoy, including a face painting booth as well as an arts and crafts section. The event is located a few feet from the Dinosaur Caves park, adding an extra incentive.
Art in the Park runs from 10 AM to 4 PM, so when visitors are finished looking around, there is still plenty of time to take a stroll along the cliff’s edge and watch the brilliant sunset from right on top of the ocean.
Located in a family-friendly community just down the street from some of Shell Beach’s most gorgeous homes, Art in the Park gives locals the chance to experience this beach style way of living at its finest.
